A plane with Serbian politicians who were flying to Moscow to discuss gas was turned back to Belgrade.

The delegation departed from Belgrade on the evening of November 3. The politicians were supposed to discuss a gas agreement with the Russians.

On board were the chairman of the Socialist Movement, Aleksandar Vulin, the head of the Serbian People's Party, Nenad Popovic, and the director of the state gas company "Srbijagas", Dusan Bajatovic.

Over Lithuania, the crew received a message from local authorities about additional security measures regarding one of the passengers. After that, the plane was turned back to Belgrade.
