The ceasefire regime in the Oleshky area of the Kherson region has officially ended. At the same time, Ukraine and Russia are working on the possibility of new humanitarian steps.
"The ceasefire regime, which was in effect from October 27 to November 1, has ended. This was an important stage of joint humanitarian work with the Russian human rights commissioner, Yana Lantaratova, under the coordination of the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump," Lubinets said.
He noted that during the ceasefire regime, both sides adhered to their commitments. This, in turn, allowed for the delivery of humanitarian aid to Oleshky and helped civilian residents who wanted to safely leave the city.
"We are currently working with Yana Lantaratova on the possibility of continuing such humanitarian steps. It is essential to maintain this mechanism of interaction to continue helping people and saving lives," the human rights commissioner summarized.
