US President Donald Trump stated that Washington is collecting intelligence on Russia and China. In turn, Moscow and Beijing are doing the same.

"Somebody really said, 'China is spying on us, sir.' I replied, 'Yes, and we're doing the same to them, don't worry.' It's terrible: China and Russia are spying on us, sir. I said, 'It's true, and we're doing the same to them. But we're doing it better, so don't worry about it,'" Trump said.
