On the night of October 30, drones attacked Novokuybyshevsk in the Samara region of Russia. After the attack on the territory of the local oil refinery, which produces jet fuel for the Russian aviation, a fire broke out.
Local residents reported explosions and anti-aircraft fire before the threat was officially announced in the region. The danger of a drone attack was only officially declared at around 6 am, when the attack was already underway. The airport in Samara was closed.
The fire at the plant's territory continued to spread, while locals kept spotting drones over the city. An OSINT analyst from ASTRA identified, based on eyewitness photos, that the fire is indeed at the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery.
