Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's negotiations with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Finnish President Alexander Stubb did not go as expected.
As journalists learned, the head of the Kremlin devoted a significant part of the conversation with the leaders of Finland and Norway to his own interpretation of the medieval history of the Slavs.
Despite this being Putin's first contact with any of Ukraine's European allies since July last year, when he spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron, the Russian leader did not rush to discuss current issues and challenges.
