Former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban may have collaborated with the communist regime's secret services in his youth and written reports on his colleagues. The originals of these reports may be stored in Moscow.
The source refers to the testimony of former Hungarian Prime Minister Miklos Nemet, who headed the government from 1988 to 1990.
In a statement dated March 30, 2026, Nemet mentions a meeting that took place shortly before the first free elections to the National Assembly in March 1990.
According to him, then-Defense Minister Ferenc Karpati handed him three original, handwritten, and signed intelligence reports, which were allegedly owned by Orban.
These reports contained Orban's observations about his colleagues during his military service in Zalaegerszeg, including their behavior, as well as their political, sexual, and religious views.
